FastMetry user guide
FastMetry is for adults who want to keep a personal record of fasting periods and body measurements. It is a general wellness tool and does not provide medical advice.
Set up the app
Choose metric or imperial units, a usual fasting plan, and an optional figure for the Body tab. You can change these choices later in Settings.
Record a fast
On the Fast tab, choose Start fast. The timer uses the saved start time. Reaching the target does not end the fast; choose End fast when you are done. Use History to add or correct a past fast.
Plan your week
Choose Plan my week or open Weekly plan in Settings. Set start times and lengths, review the dated periods, then confirm. A confirmed period starts automatically while the app is open. If you reopen the app after its planned start, FastMetry records it with the planned start time. You end each fast yourself. Weekly plans do not send notifications.
Record measurements
On the Body tab, choose Add measurements. Enter only the measurements you have; every field is optional. The Body view and Progress charts use your saved entries, and each value keeps its own recorded date.
Reminders
Settings → Notification options lets you enable goal alerts or a fortnightly measurement reminder. Your device must also allow FastMetry notifications.
Export or delete data
Settings lets you export fasting history and body measurements as separate CSV files through your device’s share options. Delete individual records from their detail screens, or choose Delete all data in Settings. Files you have exported and device backups are managed separately.
